About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This U-Haul on McHenry Ave in Modesto handles both indoor and outdoor vehicle storage, plus boat parking. There are cameras on site and a wash, and climate-controlled units if you want your rig out of the Central Valley heat. Drive-up outdoor spots make hooking up simpler. Reviews run positive overall, a 4.6 from 11 ratings. Most of the praise lands on the staff. People describe them as friendly, patient, and good at walking a first-timer through the paperwork. One reviewer in her 70s mentioned the manager took time to explain every detail and showed her to her unit. Another called the process easy and pain-free. Not everything is glowing. A couple of reviews mention rude front desk service, and one person flagged a broken elevator that made hauling heavy items to the second floor rough. Worth asking about if you book upstairs. The spot sits near Standiford and Sherwood Forest, close to Vintage Faire Mall.
