About Public Storage
Public Storage on Gum Road in Chesapeake handles more than household overflow. The listings include covered, indoor, and outdoor spots, and boat and car storage are on the menu too. The lot is gated with keypad access, and you can get in any time of day or night. Most of the 212 Google reviews, averaging 4.7 stars, talk about the staff. Tina comes up again and again, along with Sam, for being quick to help and easy to talk to. Reviewers mention a smooth reservation and setup process, a clean lot, and being walked through unit options without pressure. One reviewer was surprised by the digital kiosk at check-in but said it made things simple. Not every review is glowing. A couple of people complained about rate increases and about trouble reaching anyone by phone after booking online. Worth knowing before you sign. The site is wheelchair accessible with accessible parking.
