About Public Storage
Public Storage runs a self-storage spot in Alsip that also takes RVs, boats and cars. You can pick from covered, indoor or outdoor spots, and the property is gated with keypad access around the clock. Drive-up access makes it easier to get a rig in and out without a lot of shuffling. Reviews lean heavily on the people. Out of 504 Google reviews the place sits at 4.7, and the staff come up again and again. Reviewers call out Barbara, Sarah and Jennifer by name for being helpful and knowledgeable, and a few mention the welcoming feel when they walked in. One person said they'd give it 10 stars if they could. Not every review is glowing. One renter described a unit in rough shape and a deposit dispute, so it's worth asking to see the space before you sign. The office handles rentals online too, and you can reserve without a commitment.
