About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on E Mission Rd in San Marcos handles more than household goods. The property is also listed for automobile and boat storage, so rigs have a place here alongside regular units. It sits near the Woodland Pkwy intersection, close to Palomar College and Cal State San Marcos. Drive-up access is one of the options, and online reservations are available. The reviews land at 4.8 stars from 364 Google ratings. Staff come up again and again: people describe Anthony and Francis as kind, patient, and willing to spend real time working through questions. One reviewer called the service excellent and hard to find these days. Others mention a clean facility and good entry hours compared with other places. Some renters flag rent increases, with a couple reporting sharp jumps within a year or two of signing on. One person had a unit pulled with 30 days' notice and was unhappy about the refund. Worth reading the fine print on rate changes before you commit. Entry hours are posted but the gate is not open around the clock.
