About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on the self-storage side in Norman carries a 4.8 rating across 859 Google reviews, and the reviews lean heavily on the same theme: the people. Lawton and Lindsey come up by name again and again, walking folks through rentals and working out move-out dates that fit. One OU parent has used the place two years running to park a student's furniture between move-out and move-in. The lot is gated, and renters mention the gate code and the app for getting in and out. A few note the gate took some fussing, usually blamed on a phone rather than the facility. Units are described as updated, with security reviewers feel good about. Sizes run small to large, and several reviewers say staff helped them pick the right one. Booking happens online or in person, and move-out is automated. Price comes up as a plus early on, though a few reviewers flag a rate increase. If you're storing a rig or just seasonal stuff over the summer, this location has the track record.
