About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage sits at 1800 Busse Hwy in Des Plaines, near Miner St. It handles self storage but also lists automobile and boat storage, so there's room for trailers and rigs alongside household goods. Climate control and drive-up access are available. Reviewers mention storing here every winter and coming back. The staff comes up again and again in reviews. People name Ali, Mark, Rocco, Patrick, and John, describing them as patient and quick to walk a customer to their unit or explain which entrance to use. Security gets frequent praise too, and several reviewers call the building exceptionally clean and well maintained. Other reviews mention an easy sign-up and rental process, fair pricing, and carts on hand. If you're sorting out a spot for the season, reserve online or stop by during office hours. It's not a 24/7 site.
