Askew's Landing sits on a 15-acre stocked fishing lake off I-20 between Jackson and Vicksburg. It's a campground and cabin rental spot, not just a storage lot, with covered and outdoor RV sites and full hookups. New ownership took over in 2023. Reviewers keep coming back to the water. Fishing, kayaking, and the paddle boats get mentioned a lot, and so does the dog park. Several call it quiet and a bit secluded, and one family said they pass three or four other parks on the drive and still come here. Tent campers note the separate bathrooms; one wished they had AC. Not every review is glowing. One guest felt the sites were packed close together and that the pool and day-pass parking were crowded during their visit. The pool is on the small side by a few accounts. Monthly and seasonal rates are offered for construction and plant outage workers, snowbirds, and full-time retired campers.
