American Self Storage

About American Self Storage

American Self Storage on the self storage side of things handles boats and RVs along with regular units, and the gate is open around the clock. That 24 hour access is the draw if you tow on odd hours or need to grab the rig before daylight. Just know the office keeps regular hours, not 24 hour ones, and at least one reviewer got an earful for calling near closing time expecting otherwise. Reviews here run hot and cold, mostly about the woman who runs the office. Several renters call her friendly and say she goes out of her way to help, including one who stayed four years. Others describe rude phone calls and say they would store elsewhere. Ms. Faye comes up by name in the good ones, and people mention the place stays clean. On price, one reviewer called the units big and reasonably priced while another said rates run high, which tracks with a tight storage market in Dothan. It sits at 3.8 stars across 12 Google reviews. If you want boat or RV space with all hours access, it is worth a look. Read a few reviews first so you know what to expect.
