About American General Storage
American General Storage sits on W Homosassa Trail in Lecanto, right on the Citrus County line. It handles open-air spots for RVs, boats, trailers and work trucks, sized from 11x10 up to 11x40. Folks come over from Inverness, Homosassa, Crystal River and Spring Hill to park here. Renters get a gated keypad entry, security cameras and 24-hour access, so you can drop off or pick up whenever a trip starts or ends. Leases run month to month, and you can book online and pay your bill online too. One reviewer said they called, paid and had a spot and a move-in appointment worked out. Reviews are mixed on the grounds. A long-time boat customer called the property spacious and well maintained in earlier years but said the security gate had gone unfixed for three years and mowing had slipped. Another renter with a fifth wheel had no trouble at all and found it affordable with friendly, helpful staff.
