What to expect in Evergreen
With three facilities in Evergreen and twelve nearby, you have choices but not endless ones. The average rating is 4.2, and two places have 24-hour gate access. D&J Towing earns a 4.7 from 680 reviews and also handles boats. Evergreen Climate & Outdoor Storage is gated, camera-monitored, and has 24-hour access, plus a climate option. Uplift Self Storage has a 3.4 from just 7 reviews and also takes boats. None of the three are covered or indoor, so your RV will sit out in the elements.
Sun, snow, and your paint
At this elevation, UV is stronger than you might think, and it will fade gelcoat and crack tires over time. Snow load is another consideration: brush off the roof before it gets heavy, and don't let ice dam up around vents. Since all three local lots are outdoor, a quality cover or regular wax helps. Check for hail damage after summer storms, and keep your insurance current. If you winterize, do it before the first hard freeze, and use a battery maintainer if you have power.
Access and security
Two of the three Evergreen lots offer 24-hour access, which is handy for early departures or late returns. The third, Uplift, has fewer reviews so ask about gate hours before you commit. Evergreen Climate & Outdoor Storage adds cameras and a gate, which is a plus if you keep gear inside. D&J Towing has a strong reputation from a large review count, so it's worth a call even if it's primarily a towing outfit. Always check gate hours and visit the lot in person to see lighting and fencing.
