What's Available
All four Comstock Park listings are outdoor spots. There is no covered or indoor storage in the city itself, so plan on your rig sitting out in Michigan weather year round. That is normal for this market, and it makes a good cover or regular waxing worth the effort since sun and UV do the slow damage. Two of the four sites offer 24 hour access, and several mention boat storage alongside RVs. If you want a roof over the rig, the 12 nearby facilities are where to start.
The Facilities
National Storage leads the pack on reviews with 427 and a 4.8 rating. It is gated, has cameras, and lists climate controlled units and boat storage. ClearHome Self Storage also rates 4.8 across 254 reviews with climate and boat options. Boxer Storage is smaller, 4.7 across 19 reviews, gated with 24 hour access and boat storage. Comstock Park Storage rates 4.8 on 26 reviews with 24 hour access and lighting. Call ahead on gate hours before you commit.
Before You Sign
Outdoor storage means your rig takes whatever West Michigan throws at it, so check the lot surface and drainage when you visit. Ask whether the site is lit and gated, and confirm the gate hours match when you can actually move the RV. Keep a battery maintainer on through the off season and winterize properly before the first hard freeze. Verify your insurance covers the rig at a storage site, not just on the road.
