About Westgate Storage
Westgate Storage sits in Birmingham and runs both indoor drive-in units and outdoor parking for RVs, boats and vehicles. The drive-in entrance is big enough for a 26 ft box truck, so you pull in out of the weather instead of wrestling a rig in a tight alley. Reviewers tend to bring up two things: the staff and the shelter. Several people say the employees go out of their way to help, and one mentions Joe finding a unit that fit a long list of requests. Others note the covered, drive-through setup keeps their stuff out of the elements. It is not 24-hour access, and a few reviewers mention limited weekend hours and a code that took some fiddling. The place also rents offices and conference rooms by the month and handles U-Haul trucks, boxes and packing supplies. Longtime customers call it safe and accommodating. Ratings sit around 4.5 from 40 reviews.

What renters mention
“Great place to use if you need a place for personal items or extra business items. Climate controlled and always kept clean. Drive in entrance big enough for a 26 ft box truck.” – Lane H., 8 years ago, on Google
“Good, clean drive-in/through storage unit so you don't have to worry about the elements when you visit your stuff. It is not 24-hour access (you can not access your unit before 9 am or after 5 pm) and had terrible Sunday hours (1-4pm).” – Farrah W., 6 years ago, on Google
“Best storage around. We have been using this storage for years and I can tell you from experience with other storage locations, this one is much better. Very safe, accessible, and accommodating!” – TeDarius F., Edited 2 years ago, on Google
