About U-Store-It
U-Store-It on the storage side of Macomb takes RVs, boats and autos along with regular household stuff. Covered and indoor spots are both mentioned, and units are ground-floor with drive-up access, which matters when you are backing a rig in. Reviewers split on the place. Several call the staff helpful and the sign-up process smooth, and one newer customer liked the introductory offer and called the facility clean. Others point at upkeep: a key card reader that does not work, building doors that have not locked in over a year, and lighting that is not always adequate. One person said rates have climbed steadily. The local staff gets credit even from unhappy reviewers, who lay the runaround at the call center's door. Access is 24 hours, the property is lit, and contracts run month to month. If you want a covered or indoor spot, ask what is actually available before you haul the rig over.
