About Shield Storage
Shield Storage on Reno Highway in Fallon is a gated self-storage facility that also handles covered RV and boat parking. Access is daily, cameras run 24/7, and you can book and pay online. Reviews are mixed. Many people call the staff kind and helpful, and some mention clean grounds and wide aisles. Jana in the office gets named for taking time to show units. Others had billing problems, including payments not posted and surprise late fees. A few said online bookings went wrong when units were already occupied. The place is corporate-owned. If you book online, confirm the unit is actually open before you haul your rig over. Ask about the late fee policy up front. The 4.4-star average across 62 reviews suggests most folks get along fine, but the complaints are specific enough to check before you sign.
