About Rushmore Storage
Rushmore Storage is a family-owned, fenced facility in Rapid City with covered parking, self storage units, and climate controlled units. The lot is gated and has an automated gate, security lights, and surveillance cameras. Access is restricted, not open around the clock. Reviewers mention reasonable rates and say the owners go out of their way to help, including one who stepped in when a hired mover fell through. Several call it secure and well maintained. One reviewer notes it is a smaller facility, so covered parking and small lockers can be hard to find in spring. Not every review is positive. One person reported mice ruining items in a self storage unit and said the manager offered no solution. Worth reading through before you commit. The facility does have set hours, so ask about access when you call.
