About Royal Storage
Royal Storage sits in Ames, a short drive from Des Moines, and locals have used it for boats and household overflow alike. The lot is lit and open to renters around the clock, so you can pull in after work with your rig. Reviewers keep coming back to the same point: the place is clean and well taken care of. One person who has rented units for work said it looked better kept than most. The owner, Kirk, gets named a lot. He calls when you book, answers questions, hands over a lock, and stays easy to reach. Not every experience lands. One renter said they set a day, never got a call back, and gave up. That is the outlier in 15 reviews at 4.5 stars. For most people here, the draw is a tidy lot and a straight answer from the owner.
