About Rotterdam Self Storage
Rotterdam Self Storage sits in Schenectady and handles more than the usual household overflow. The operation also covers vehicle and boat storage, so an RV has a place here alongside the standard units. Access runs around the clock, and cameras watch the property. Reviewers tend to bring up the staff first. Several describe them as friendly and easy to deal with, and one notes that reserving or canceling a unit can be done online or by phone. Online payments and auto bill pay come up as ways to keep things simple. Not everyone is sold, though. A long-term customer complained about repeated price increases and an insurance requirement, and another review says the place changed after new ownership. The rating sits at 3.9 from 20 Google reviews. Month-to-month leasing and packing supplies are part of the setup. If you are comparing spots for a rig, ask about vehicle storage specifics when you call.

What renters mention
“Friendly staff, easy to reserve or cancel a unit online or by calling/stopping in. Auto bill pay makes it even easier, as long as you pay on time you'll never have any issues. Negative reviews must be folks who got behind on payments.” – Grayson W., 5 years ago, on Google
“Getting to rent this storage was as easy as a phone call.... had to stop by the office to sign papers also. Have started to use the unit today and it is going to work out great!” – Linda M., 5 years ago, on Google
“friendly people and very pleasant to deal with . I am a unit buyer for non paying people not a renter that may make a personal difference” – steve d., 6 years ago, on Google
