About Rockcastle Self Storage
Rockcastle Self Storage sits off Hwy 461, about 5 miles from I-75 and 20 miles from Lake Cumberland. It handles indoor RV, boat and self storage units, plus outdoor boat and trailer parking with easy access. If you're hauling a rig down the interstate, the detour is short. Reviewers rate it 4.9 across 9 reviews, and the same names keep coming up: clean, secure, and Dave. People describe him calling when someone came onto the property, and one driver stranded over Memorial Day weekend got a spot for a fifth wheel right after a phone call. Another needed a bigger unit than first rented and says there was no hassle about the switch. Folks also mention the lot and buildings staying clean and maintained. The entrance is easy to miss coming from Mount Vernon, so watch for it. Reviewers call it a small local operation that's growing, with some of the better prices along I-75. Worth a call before you commit.
