About Republic Storage - Star
Republic Storage sits in Star and also runs locations in Boise and Caldwell, serving Idaho storage needs since 1988. Units have steel walls and concrete floors, and the lot is lit. RV and boat storage is available on site alongside the regular self-storage. The reviews are mixed, and most of the talk centers on management and the units. Several people describe the on-site team as friendly and easy to deal with, and one reviewer said the manager held a space before they arrived. Others point to clean, well-kept grounds and fair rates. Complaints tend to be about billing and winter conditions. Reviewers mention surprise charges, trouble getting a prorated move-out month, and a snowstorm that left ice piled in front of unit doors. Worth reading the reviews yourself before you sign anything.

“So I called Republic storage and Debbie answered the phone and just from the beginning she was delightful. Amazing easy to deal with. She held the space for me when she didn’t have too.” – Brian J., a year ago, on Google
“Barb and Chris are superb managers, Conner does great job on their days off. Friendly, attentive and most helpful. I've been renting space there nearly 3 years. They are truly flexible.” – Mags S., 8 years ago, on Google
