About Public Storage
This Public Storage on Hillcrest Rd is a self-storage spot in Mobile that also lists RV, boat and auto storage among its categories. Units range from small 5x10 climate controlled indoor spaces up to large 10x30 drive-up units with rollup doors, and one 10x30 outside unit is marked for boat or vehicle parking. Access is 24/7. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Melissa and Meghan get named for walking people through the process and explaining things clearly, and one reviewer called the buildings the cleanest they had checked out. Others mention the unit selection when picking a space. Not every review is glowing. A few mention rats, and one person wrote that the gate was left open because it was broken. The rating sits at 4.8 from 378 Google reviews, so most people came away happy. The office is reachable by phone if you want to sort out a reservation before driving over.

What renters mention
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service from Melissa! Melissa is absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, she was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to make the entire process smooth and stress-free.” – Frank J., a year ago, on Google
“Melissa is such a beautiful soul! She was able to recover items that belonged to my mother who had passed away in 2020. My mother’s husband had put these items in storage instead of giving them to us.” – Tanisha D., a month ago, on Google
“After having some not so great experiences with other storage places, I came to this location and met Meghan, she was very helpful, very nice. Great customer service.” – Kayla S., 2 years ago, on Google
