About Public Storage
This Public Storage sits in Elgin and covers both sides of the equation: indoor climate-controlled units and outdoor drive-up parking for RVs, boats, and vehicles. The lot is gated and open around the clock. Online booking is available if you'd rather skip the counter. Reviewers tend to bring up the staff by name, and the praise is specific. People describe patient, knowledgeable help at the desk, clear explanations of access and office hours, and a clean, well-kept property. Several mention the pricing as affordable, and a few note that the move-in process went smoothly. Not every review is glowing. One person reported cloth moths in a unit billed as climate controlled and pest free. Another flagged a rate increase after just a few months, and a third described jumps of roughly 29% and 68% on two units, with word of more to come. Worth reading the fine print on rates before you sign.
