About Public Storage
This Public Storage sits on Howard Street in Chicago, close to the Metra and CTA and about 10 minutes from I94. It's open 24 hours, which comes up a lot in reviews. Parking lot is a decent size, so getting in and out with a rig isn't a squeeze. Units are climate controlled, and several layouts come with elevator access or ground-floor entry. Reviewers mention the elevator regularly, plus easy unloading once you're inside. The signage helps when you're hunting for your unit. One reviewer had to switch to a bigger space after finding the online deal was a locker, so check what you're reserving. Staff get named in the reviews more than anything else. Shonda comes up repeatedly for walking people through the online application and showing units in person. Another reviewer praised Rhonda. People also mention quick sign-up, same-day follow-up on questions, and carts on site. The gripes: a rent increase after six months, and a call for better carts and hours. 4.7 stars across 719 reviews.
