About Hometown Storage

Hometown Storage sits in Diamond, Illinois, and has been renting space since 1993. The lot is fenced with keypad entry and video surveillance, and the units take boats, cars and RVs alongside regular household goods. Inside storage and outside stalls are both offered, plus climate-controlled units and a stock of moving supplies. Reviews are mixed, and the low ones are blunt. One camper owner stored a rig for eight months and came away unhappy with how the billing months were counted. Others report water damage and mold on furniture, and one mentions bugs and mice getting into a unit. A few reviewers say the office is often empty and hard to reach. Not every review is negative. One recent renter called the prices great and the staff awesome, and another described the place as clean. The rating sits at 3.4 from 14 reviews. If you are comparing spots for a rig, read the recent reviews yourself before you sign.
