About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage sits at 4929 Shell Rd near Independence Blvd, and it draws renters from Chic's Beach, Thoroughgood and Lake Smith. The property handles self storage plus vehicle and boat parking, with small, medium and large units and drive-up access. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Nicole, Kaitlin and Chris get named for being friendly and quick, and one person switched over from another company after working with Nicole. Others call the property clean, secure and well maintained. A few mention military friendly service and picking up moving supplies on site. Not every review is glowing. One long-time customer left unhappy after moving out and wanted to talk to a decision maker about it. The rest mostly describe a standard facility where the people make the difference. Hours are posted, so it is not a 24/7 spot.
