About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on E University Dr in Tempe runs a big self-storage site, and vehicle and boat storage are listed among its categories. It sits near S Perry Ln, close to the 101 and not far from the 202 and McClintock, so getting a rig in and out is not a long detour. Reviewers keep coming back to two things: the staff and how clean the place is. Heather gets named a lot, and people describe her as quick to respond and honest. Others call the property safe and well kept, and several mention the rental process going fast, including last-minute availability. One person stored a unit here for 15 years before moving out. A few reviews flag the drawback: rates went up after the first few months, and one renter saw a jump of more than half. Units are not air conditioned either, which matters in a Tempe summer. Worth knowing before you sign. The facility has staffed hours, not 24/7 gate access.
