About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage sits on Montauk Hwy in Oakdale, and the reviews lean positive, 4.7 stars across 77 of them. Reviewers keep coming back to the same thing: the place is clean, inside and out. One tenant noted no odd smells and no loitering, which is more than you can say for some lots. The staff gets named. Miranda drew praise for being friendly and walking a customer through the whole setup. Justin, the manager, gets credit for knowing the products and working with people on price and availability. A long-term tenant who stayed through a change in ownership called the team courteous and honest. Not everything is smooth. One reviewer got stuck in the lot for hours when an access code failed and couldn't reach anyone by phone. Another flagged frequent rate hikes, two increases totaling 50% in the first year. Small units, medium units, and large units are offered. Deliveries are accepted and the drive aisles are wide.
