About Extra Space Storage
This Extra Space location on the self storage side of things has built a strong local reputation, with a 4.9 average across more than 700 Google reviews. A lot of that feedback centers on the office staff, and one employee in particular, Joyce, comes up again and again for walking people through rentals and answering questions without rushing them. Reviewers describe clean units and a straightforward move-in process. Several mention booking online and having a unit ready within hours, and boat storage comes up too. Climate controlled units are available if you want protection from the Lowcountry heat and humidity. One pattern worth knowing before you sign: a few reviewers say their monthly rate went up after the initial contract, in one case by a lot. Others praise the staff just as strongly. It is a self storage facility rather than an RV-only lot, so ask about vehicle space when you call. Reserve online or stop by.
