About Extra Space Storage
This Extra Space facility sits at 5253 E Main St in east Mesa, near the Higley Rd corner. Neighbors from Gilbert and Apache Junction use it too, and the reviews back up the location. It is a self-storage facility, and RV owners have parked rigs here. The gate matters if you are leaving a coach or trailer. Reviewers call the grounds clean, secure, and easy to get into. Staff names come up a lot, especially Thomas and Joe, for being easy to talk to and quick to set up a rental. People also describe the sign-up as fast, whether in person or online. One thing worth knowing before you commit: a few reviewers mention rate increases after they signed up. In at least one case the manager reached out and negotiated the rate. Read your agreement, ask what the current rate is, and check the lot yourself before you park. Hours are posted, so call ahead rather than assume the gate is open at night.
