About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on 42nd St sits near Pendleton Pike, a straight shot for folks in Lawrence, Arlington Woods and Devington. The property is self-storage first but also handles covered vehicle storage, so there's a spot for the rig alongside the usual household units. Sizes run small, medium and large, with drive-up access on some of them. The lot earns a 4.6 across 376 Google reviews, and the staff is what comes up most. Reviewers describe Anthony by name as someone who walks you through options and works with you when money gets tight. Others mention a quick fix from Ed when a gate or unit gave them trouble, and snow being shoveled off a covered spot after a call. Clean grounds and a secure feel get repeated mentions too. A few things worth knowing before you commit. More than one reviewer says rates crept up over time, and a couple of people had trouble keeping two separate units distinct in the system. Gate hours are limited compared to 24/7 access, though reviewers note the reason for it. If covered storage is your priority, call ahead and ask what's open.
