About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Rabon Rd in Columbia handles outdoor RV parking and self-storage. It's a gated facility with 24/7 access, and the wide drive aisles make it easier to swing a big rig around. Climate-controlled units are available too, though that's for your stuff, not your RV. The reviews here are mostly about the staff. People mention Sylvester, Keem, Aisha, and Lukas by name, saying they were courteous, quick to help, and good at explaining unit options. One reviewer noted that an associate set up their account at another property when it turned out to be a better fit. Another appreciated being walked out to see the unit before signing. Not every review is glowing. One long-time customer had a rough experience with a manager change and access issues, so it's worth reading the recent ones yourself. But with a 4.9 average across 647 reviews, the helpful-staff theme comes up a lot. The facility also offers a military discount and accepts deliveries, according to its own description.
