About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage runs a self-storage facility on Center Point Pkwy in Birmingham, near 25th Ave. It sits in a part of town that pulls customers from Center Point, Chalkville, and Pinson. The site is gated, and the company lists vehicle storage among the options, so there is room for trailers and boats alongside household units. Hours are posted, so you can't roll in at midnight without checking first. The reviews lean heavily on the people. Kia comes up by name over and over, described as patient, kind, and willing to sort out a unit that turned out too small on move-in day. Tony gets a mention for phone service too. Reviewers also note the place stays clean and that staff walk them through codes and locks, with one person glad for an app that makes access simpler. Small, medium, and large units are listed, with climate control and drive-up access mentioned in the company's own write-up. The 4.9 rating across 613 Google reviews is the kind of number that usually means the counter staff handles problems before they grow.
