About Downtown Self Storage
A self-storage spot in Lewiston that also handles vehicle and boat storage, with indoor units among the options. It's not a polished operation, and reviewers say so, but they keep coming back. People who rent here mention the staff by attitude rather than name: helpful, friendly, willing to stay a few extra minutes so you can finish unloading a U-Haul. Hand trucks and dollies are on site free to use. One long-term renter calls the units secure and well kept and says the waiting list is worth joining when they're full. Payment is the recurring gripe. Reviewers say the online system locks them out and that the third-party processor doesn't take ACH from a bank account, with card details sometimes requested by text. Come with patience for that side of it. The building itself has some history to it, according to one reviewer.
