Derrel's Mini Storage

About Derrel's Mini Storage

Derrel's Mini Storage on the south side of Bakersfield runs a self storage facility that also sets aside room for RV and boat parking. Spaces come covered or out in the open, so you can pick based on how much sun and weather you want your rig to see. The lot is lit and watched by cameras, and reviewers tend to bring up security without being asked. People who park here talk about the staff first. One reviewer showed up late for check-in and still got walked back to a covered space, with a golf cart ride for his wife. Others mention cold water handed out on a hot day, employees showing several spaces to compare, and managers working to get trailers, boats and a camper parked near each other. Cleanliness comes up often, and the team gets described as thorough and professional at check-in. The office is open 7 AM to 7 PM daily, and you can pay online or pick up packing and moving supplies on site. Renters gripe about long term prices, so ask what the monthly rate is before you commit. No gimmicks was one way a reviewer put it.
