About Compass Self Storage
Compass Self Storage sits on Belmont Avenue in West Philadelphia, west of I-76 and just off Girard Avenue. It's a self-storage facility that also handles cars, trailers, and boats, so there's room for more than boxes. Covered access to the units means a big moving truck can load and unload out of the weather. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Tinesha gets named a lot for being professional and patient, and Kim gets credit for treating people like family and giving tours. People describe the process as smooth and easy, and one reviewer mentions storing items for over a year with no damage or mold. Another was set up with a last-minute truck right before closing. Services include moving truck rentals, packing and moving supplies, and student storage, which fits the Penn crowd nearby. The place is clean, organized, and secure by all accounts, with climate-controlled options and wheelchair-accessible entry and parking. It holds a 4.8 rating across more than 1,200 Google reviews. Hours vary, so call ahead if you need a specific time.
