About Cardinal Self Storage
Cardinal Self Storage sits on Lafayette Rd in Seabrook, about 2 miles from downtown and a short drive from Newburyport, Portsmouth, Amesbury and Rye. Unlike the exterior-access places around town, the units here are inside an enclosed building, and all of them are climate controlled. Sizes run from 5'x4 up to 10'x14, with ground floor and upper floor options. The building is new, and reviewers point that out. They mention the big elevator, bright lighting on the upper floors, and wide aisles and doorways that make moving stuff easier. One person said his girlfriend feels fine being there after dark alone. Access is 24/7. Reviews are mixed, though. The 3.3 rating comes from 14 reviews, and several are complaints: slow setup, a lock cut over a small balance, charges that continued after a cancellation call, and one person turned away because a floor had just been painted without notice. There is no staff on site, the building runs automated, so plan on handling things by phone or message. Worth reading the reviews before you reserve.
