About Area Storage
Area Storage in Point Harbor runs a self-storage lot that also handles RVs, boats, and U-Haul rentals. It's a local spot, not a big chain, and the reviews are mixed. On the good side, several people say renting was quick and the staff friendly. One reviewer needed a trailer on short notice and was hooked up in minutes. Others note the facility is well maintained and say they'd use it again. But not everyone's happy. A few mention rent going up more than once a year. One person had trouble reaching staff by phone and another showed up to find a virtual assistant instead of a person. Security cameras are mentioned in the listing, yet one reviewer claimed they aren't everywhere. If you're parking a rig here, ask about the rate history and walk the lot first.
