About AAAA Self Storage
On Apperson Drive just off Route 419, this Salem facility runs 228 units and stays open around the clock, so you can swing by before work or late at night. It sits close to both Roanoke and Salem, and reviewers mention stopping in on the way to or from the house. Security comes up often in reviews, and people say they have not had problems there. One renter had a lock cut off, and staff spotted suspicious behavior, chased the person off, and swapped in a new lock. Others describe the staff as easy and nice to deal with, with one long-term out-of-state customer calling the service consistently excellent. A few things to know before you sign: there is not always someone in the office, and reviewers say rates have gone up more than once in recent years. One person warned against renting online after getting a unit number and lock combo that did not exist at the site.
