About 49 Self Storage
49 Self Storage sits just off Highway 49 in Alta Sierra, a short drive from Grass Valley, Auburn, and Nevada City. It's family-owned, with drive-up units and fully enclosed 12x27 and 12x30 garages with oversized doors and extra driveway space for boats, trailers, and cars. The property is fully fenced with electronic gate access, 24/7 keycode entry, and video surveillance. There's a 90,000-gallon water tank for fire protection and a 24-hour kiosk for contactless move-in. Month-to-month leases are available, and military, senior, and student discounts are offered. Reviewers mention the friendly staff and easy sign-up. One person said the online process was simple and a phone call fixed a technical issue in two minutes. Another appreciated getting a real person on the customer service line. The facility also gets nods for being clean and for quick notice when a lock was left unsecured.
